BiCALP Nepal Organizes Godawari–Indradeo Memorial Scholarship Distribution Program

Venue: Mahabir Memorial English Boarding School, Khirakhiriya, Nagarain, Dhanusha

July 16, 2026: BiCALP Nepal, Dhanusha successfully organized the Godawari–Indradeo Memorial Scholarship Distribution Program on 16 July 2026 (32 Ashadh 2083 BS) at Mahabir Memorial English Boarding School, Khirakhiriya. The program was chaired by Mr. Anil Kumar Karn, Treasurer of BiCALP Nepal, and graced by Mr. Binay Kumar Yadav, Mayor of Nagarain Municipality, as the Chief Guest.

The program aimed to encourage academically talented students from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds by providing scholarships, educational materials, and recognition for their achievements.

As part of the program:

  • Master Nihal Thakur (Grade 5) received a scholarship of NPR 12,000 for the academic year, along with an English–Nepali Dictionary and stationery supplies, continuing the support provided in previous years.
  • Raju Sah, Khushwu Mahara, and Saraswati Mahara (Grade 5) were awarded English–Nepali Dictionaries and stationery materials to support their education.
  • Dipika Mukhiya (UKG) was recognized for achieving an outstanding 95% score in her class and received learning materials, including notebooks, coloring books, pencils, an eraser, and a sharpener.
  • In recognition of their dedication to supporting children’s education, Mrs. Shushila Devi Mahara (mother of Khushwu Mahara) and Mrs. Raj Kumari Mukhiya (grandmother of Dipika Mukhiya) were honored with a saree for ensuring regular school attendance and providing continuous care and encouragement.

During the event, the Chief Guest congratulated the students and their families, emphasizing the importance of education in empowering children and strengthening communities. He also appreciated BiCALP Nepal for its continued commitment to supporting deserving students and promoting inclusive educational opportunities.

BiCALP Nepal remains dedicated to encouraging academic excellence and ensuring that children from marginalized and economically disadvantaged communities have access to quality education and the resources they need to build a brighter future.
