Date: July 10, 2026BiCALP Nepal successfully organized a Scholarship Distribution Program on 10 July 2026 at Rajeshwar Nidhi Secondary School, Nagarain, Dhanusha, with generous grant support from Development for Peace International (DFP International), Texas, USA. The program was conducted in coordination and collaboration with Rajeshwar Nidhi Secondary School and facilitated by BiCALP Nepal, Dhanusha.
The scholarship distribution ceremony was chaired by Mr. Dev Narayan Rajak, Secretary of BiCALP Nepal, and was honored by the presence of Mr. Binay Kumar Yadav, Mayor of Nagarain Municipality, who attended as the Chief Guest.
As part of the initiative, three outstanding Grade 11 students from marginalized and economically disadvantaged communities within Nagarain Municipality were awarded scholarships in recognition of their academic excellence and commitment to education. Each student received a scholarship of NPR 50,000 to support their continued studies and future aspirations.
The scholarship recipients are:
- Kajal Kumari Das – GPA 3.55
- Shiv Kumar Sada – GPA 3.43
- Saniya Karn – GPA 3.49
Speaking at the event, the distinguished guests congratulated the students on their remarkable achievements and encouraged them to continue pursuing academic excellence. They also emphasized the importance of education in creating opportunities, empowering communities, and building a more inclusive society.
